The IRKOM Case Development Funding Program is seeking outstanding researchers interested
in developing case studies
on Korean firms.

With the aim of discovering the factors characterizing the strategies and practices of Korean companies,
The Institute for Research in Korean Management is seeking proposals from outstanding researchers who are interesed in developing insightful cases studies on Korean companies.

Operation Process
Researcher Recruitment Announcement
An announcement will be posted on main websites (IRKOM, Yonsei University, Office of Research Affairs) and hibrain.net.
Submission Of Applications
Submit your project application (proposal and budget) to the IRKOM email address.
First Screening: Preliminary Review
Preliminary selection after an internal review by the Secretariat.
Second Screening: Evaluation Committee
Organize an evaluation committee and start reviewing the submissions.
Final Project Selection
Final selection
Announcement Of The Winning Projects
Notify the principal investigator of the results (individual notification and announcement on the website).
Orientation
Hold an orientation for the principal investigator of the selected project.
Researcher Agreement
Sign an agreement with the researchers using the IRKOM’s agreement form (with the final proposal and budget plan attached).
Commencement Of The Research
As of the date of agreement
Interim Report
Hold an interim report symposium.
Organize an evaluation committee and review the report.
Final Report
Hold a final report symposium.
Organize an evaluation committee and review the report.
Termination Of The Agreement
- One-year project : Terminated automatically after one full year from the date of agreement
- Multi-year project : The research agreement can be extended depending on the final report evaluation results.
Submission Of Final Deliverables
- Mandatory : Manuscripts for publication written in English (e.g., educational case development, research reports, books, etc.)
- Optional : Supplementary materials (e.g., videos, audio, infographics, etc.)"
