The global rise of K-pop underscores the significant expansion of cultural industries originating from non-Western, non-English-speaking countries. K-pop has been a driving force behind the 'Korean Wave,' spreading across the globe through digital platforms and positioning K-pop companies as key players in the international entertainment industry. This research project aims to explore how K-pop companies, particularly HYBE, have evolved from peripheral entities to global powerhouses in the music market and how they sustain this success. Unlike previous studies that focused on broader industry dynamics, this project delves into HYBE's unique strategies and developmental trajectory. By examining HYBE’s innovative approaches and its adaptation to global best practices, this project provides valuable insights into strategic management and international business practices, enhancing our understanding of how Korean firms lead and thrive in the global entertainment industry.
